txakoli is made most often from a grape named hondarribi zurri.  leave it to the basque to make a slightly effervescent rose wine that is tart and full of lime.  everyone should try this once.

Hill and Dale   Pinotage   Stellenbosch, South Africa   6.50

pinotage is a genetically engineered cross between pinot noir and cinsault.  not sure why anyone would choose cinsault, but it worked.  if you like leather, this is your wine.  some love this wine on its own, I need food.
