Brun makes chardonnay with great minerality and acidity.  No oaky woody flavor, no buttery creamy.  this is what chardonnay tastes like.

Uriondo Txakoli    Basque Country, Spain   7.00

Txakoli is made most often from a grape named hondarribi zurri.  leave it to the basque to make a slightly effervescent white wine that is just crazy enough to be great.

malbec with the typical flavor and mouth feel and a complexity you don’t get out of a wine at this price.  another great argentinean wine at a good price.  yay argentina!
