traditional rose from the rhone valley in france. I love this rose as a “this is what rose traditionally is” kind of wine. berries and dry minerality.

a new type of wine from california.  the guy who makes this wine is reinventing the lesser priced balanced california wine from the 1980’s.  I am really excited about this type of wine being made in cali again.

portugal will be the next new thing in wine before too long.  They are making very interesting red and white wine for great prices.  this one is medium body with a little smoke.  this is one of the best values in my opinion.
