this is a blend of seven grapes, only three of which i have heard of before.  my friends and i used to drink “suicides” from fountain drink machine when I was a kid and they were delicious.  This is the adult equivalent in my eyes.

Badia Corti Orvieto   Umbria, Italy 5.50

a blend of white grapes; trebbiano, grecchetto, verdello and a few others.  slightly funky with good fruit.  a good “sit around and drink” wine or even better “eat some food” wine.

nc fried oyster salad – spinach | warm bacon vinaigrette | 7.95

Xarmant Txakoli Basque Country, Spain 7.00

Txakoli is made most often from a grape named hondarribi zurri.  leave it to the basque to make a slightly effervescent white wine that is just crazy enough to be great.  This is seafood wine.

Local BELT sandwich – 5.95

Galea Schiava   Alto Adige, Italy 7.00

so light in color that it could almost be confused with rose.  native to alto adige this grape is pinot noir with a little less fruit and a creamy kick.  great summer red.
